Survey
Van den Herik has its own survey department that carries out all the surveying and sounding work. That way we can do all our own surveying so that measurements are quickly available for projects after earth moving, pile-driving, dredging and filling work. In this way we safeguard the quality of our work.
Determining quantities
We employ our own survey department to determine quantities on the basis of measurements or drawings. This enables us to submit reliable and competitive tenders.
Control of dredging vessels
The survey has other tasks as well. This department is also jointly responsible for controlling and positioning our ships. Data obtained from surveys is uploaded into the system in combination with theoretical models, so that the ships can ‘see’ in real time where dredging and filling should take place.
