Commissioned by the Forestry Commission we realized the construction of a jetty and trailer slipway, for launching (pleasure) craft. We did this in the recreational area Quackstrand in Hellevoetsluis/Stellendam.
The area has many recreationists, especially in the sunnier periods. It is therefore a unique location with fairly calm water where one can take a dip in both fresh and salt water.
As the last part of the quality impulse Quackstrand, the trailer ramp and jetty were realized. Many disciplines come together in this construction project. After mapping the area using soundings and measurements, we placed tubular piles and supplied sand. To keep these piles and the supplied sand in place, we installed sinkers, which we finished with crushed stone. The trailer ramp was then constructed in concrete.
