The combination consists of Van den Herik, BAM Infra Nederland and Dynniq Mobility, with SPIE as strategic partner. Work started in 2022.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The contractor combination Vitaal will do the maintenance of the (wet) engineering structures in this area. We are talking about no fewer than 72 bridges, 50 drainage works, 12 locks, 3 weir complexes and 6 pumping stations. This gives us as contractors the opportunity to make recoverable investments, for example by investing in smart ways of working in <strong class=\"\">asset management<\/strong> and <strong class=\"\">data-driven maintenance<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>This aligns the contract with the objectives of the transition process &#8216;Towards a vital infrastructure sector&#8217;. Part of this is predictable maintenance using SMART Maintenance (data-driven maintenance). Through data analysis we can prevent failures and damage or limit their impact, including inconvenience to (shipping) traffic. In this way, less corrective maintenance needs to be carried out and we are better able to anticipate the management measures to be taken.
