Steel structures often play an essential role in our projects. They are used in bridges, locks, dams, breakwaters, jetties and other hydraulic and infrastructural structures. Given the task of replacement and renovation we face as an industry, there is increasing demand for civil construction work. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 2025, we have had our own construction branch. Van den Herik constructs civil steel structures for a variety of projects in hydraulic engineering and infrastructure. From new construction to replacement or renovation of existing structures. We work closely with clients, engineering firms and other partners to achieve safe, efficient and sustainable solutions. Steel offers great design freedom, high strength and long service life. Combined with our knowledge of hydraulic engineering and execution, we realize structures that can withstand heavy loads and intensive use. <\/p>\n

Our steel construction projects start with a well-thought-out structural design. We perform engineering and calculations according to the applicable standards, including Eurocode 3 (NEN-EN 1993). Depending on the project, we carry it out ourselves with our specialists or in close cooperation with established chain partners. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

EN 1090 certified steel construction<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We werken volgens een gecertificeerd managementsysteem voor staalbouw. Onze staalconstructies worden gerealiseerd conform EN 1090\u20111.<\/p>\n

Dit betekent dat onder andere:<\/p>\n

  • materiaalkeuze en traceerbaarheid zijn geborgd<\/li>\n
  • lasprocessen aantoonbaar worden beheerst<\/li>\n
  • keuringen en controles zijn vastgelegd<\/li>\n
  • kwaliteit reproduceerbaar en verifieerbaar is<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Hiermee voldoen onze staalconstructies aan de hoge eisen die worden gesteld aan civiele kunstwerken en infrastructuurprojecten.<\/p>\n

    Duurzaam en toekomstgericht
    \n<\/strong>Bij de inzet van staal kijken wij verder dan alleen de constructieve functie. Waar mogelijk houden we rekening met duurzaamheid, circulariteit en hergebruik van staalconstructies. Dit sluit aan bij onze bredere duurzaamheidsambities en bij actuele ontwikkelingen binnen de civiele sector. Door bewuste materiaalkeuzes en een doordacht ontwerp dragen onze staalconstructies bij aan een lange levensduur en een lagere milieubelasting.<\/p>\n
